Thank you for visiting our website!
Gardenview Baptist Church is a friendly congregation that welcomes anyone and everyone. When you visit us for the first time, you can expect to be greeted with a warm smile and a friendly handshake. We understand it can be a little overwhelming when visiting a church for the first time, and we want you to feel as comfortable as possible. We want you to discover the joy that we share when we come together to worship God in spirit and in truth. If you are planning to visit on a Sunday morning, here are some hints to help you find your way around and know what to expect.
By the way, there’s no dress code! Come comfortable…you’ll see people wearing blue jeans all the way to sport coats and ties. You will be greeted by a smiling face when you enter our building. These greeters can direct you to the Welcome Center where volunteers will help you find a Sunday School class that is appropriate to your age and life stage.
After Sunday School, our morning worship begins at 10:45 in the Sanctuary. Our members will be happy to help guide you there. Please take the opportunity before the service starts to silence all cell phones. During the service, you can find the words that we sing on the screens in large text for everyone to read.
Children in Pre-K through 5th grade attend morning worship for the song service portion and then are dismissed to Children’s Church on the 2nd floor of our building for a Bible lesson tailored to their age. If they are uncomfortable attending Children’s Church they are more than welcome to remain in the service with you.
Please give us the opportunity to know you better by filling out your information on the Connection cards that are passed out during service.
After the service, one of our ministers will be at an exit door and would love to greet you personally. There will also be some one ready to give you a guest appreciation bag with some goodies and information about our church.
Once you’ve visited, we hope that you’ll choose Gardenview Baptist Church to be your church home.
